Voices from 2018 and 2019

"It was great in Berlin" (Maike)

Keiko in Japanese means "to look/to preserve the past". We usually translate it as "training" but is much more then this. It is a commitment, we involve ourselves to build a deep understanding of what is inside each movement, each kihon, each waza.
Aikido Summer Berlin was, for the second year, a fantastic laboratory to widen and practice this never-ending research and path through the generous touch of 12 incredible teachers. I wish to thank them all for giving us the possibility to preserve the tradition and look at the future at the same time. (Paolo Narciso)

Es war wieder einmal ein tolles Seminar und ich habe jede Minute auf der Matte
genossen. (G. Martin Butz)

Back from Aikido Summer Berlin 2019. Thank you all for the great atmosphere and joyful practice. Special thanks for Heidi Grot for the perfect organization and the other 11 teachers for their classes and dedicated spirit.
A real pleasure, a unique experience. (Gaston Nicolessi)

"Yes, big thank you to the amazing organization. A truly beautiful gathering of great people!" (Lawrence Shinyu Warry )

Had some wonderful days in Berlin with an honor to be one the 12 teachers giving classes at 2nd Aikido Summer Berlin -seminar. Great time on and off the tatami, lots of sweat, lovely meetings with old and new friends. Thank you everybody. 🙏(Miia Mäntysaari)

It was again great and beautiful friendship seminar Berlin 2019. (Paul Jungschlager)

What you're doing is so very important. We Aikido-ka must continue coming together and sharing time on and off the mat. It is vital for the future of the art itself. And the people that you are attracting are beautiful - cooperative, joyful, energetic, enthusiastic... Other seminars do not always get these results. (Lia Suzuki)
